WeGo for the People Launches as Non-profit organization

One month ago (June 27, 2024) WeGo for the People incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in West Chicago IL.  The new organizations board members are Jonathan Wolf, Joseph Waltz, Greg Salzman (treasurer), Steve Riani, Katy O'Shea-Kessler (secretary), Julieta Alcántar-Garcia (vice-chair woman), and Dan Bovey (chairman)

Wego for the People began as a group of neighbors who love their city and want it to be the best version of itself that we can make it.  We believe City Hall has veered away from its mission to serve the people and is instead focused on its own welfare and preservation as a corporate entity.  We are committed to improving our city by reversing this trend and putting the people back into the driver’s seat of city government.
